I'm very curious to see what these little guys are going to be named. Also the official Sugimori art has been posted on Bulbapedia and I have to say Daikenki looks much better in the official art. Well here we go:
Grass-type Tsutarja will be known as Snivy.
Fire-type Pokabu will be known as Tepig.
Water-type Mijumaru will be known as Oshawott.
The Isshu region is being renamed to Unova.

I agree I liked the German names better too. My mijumaru will probably get nicknamed Ottaro.
