We're getting some new characters for this season just like other seasons, but sadly, if the rumours and leaked info we have on the new season is correct, Brock and Dawn will not be returning. I kinda expected that for Dawn since it is the trend with every female lead we have had. However I'm extremely sad to see that Brock will be leaving as he is one of my favourites. Oh well maybe with some new characters we will get some new gags to chuckle at.
Ash/Satoshi so far has been said to still be the lead character which is understandable and I'm glad that part is not slotted to change as he is my favourite.
I am hoping that Team Rocket also gets the boot. I do like them (especially James and Meowth) but they too have run their course as supporting characters and I'm ready to hear my last "Team Rocket's blasting off again!"
