Hey everyone! ^^ I'm a long time forumer and an even longer Pokemon fan. I was introduced to the series back in '98 when I watched an episode on TV. My first episode was the racing episode with Ponyta. Here I am, age 21, and I still watch the show regularily. I'm in the midst of collecting all of the DVD boxsets.

My first game was Pokemon Silver on the GBC, and I've been playing the games since. (Looking forward to Pokemon White!)
My favorite Pokemon are Chikorita, Mew, Espeon and Charizard.

In addition to Pokemon, I enjoy writing, drawing, sewing, ballroom dance, and reading heaps and heaps of manga. I also listen to a ton of Japanese music.

Anyway, I think I've rambled on enough. xD; Hope to have fun here. <3

We watched the same first episode of the series! What a small world.

I don't think I've ever posted some of my pokémon facts here either so I'm gonna follow the trend

My favourite pokémon: Pikachu, Mew, Quilava, Lucario, Vulpix, Buisel and Eevee and its evolutions!

First Game: Blue with my charmander.

I became a fan of the series when a friend gave me a pokémon card with a Pikachu on it. That was back in '98. I then saved my allowances and in '99 had enough to buy the game.

I still like watching the anime and playing the card game XD

Ooh yay, another Mew fan. <3 I have two Mew plushies that I like to cuddle. XD <3 I really want more.

You're lucky that you get to play the card game. You know what's sad? D: I have cards but I've never ever gotten to actually play with them. =( So I just sort of ... look at them. XD

*horrified* We must try and do a game card day with the fans in the area. When I get back from the holidays I am going to look into the league that is Vancouver and see if we can arrange a meet up.

I have a little plush Mew too. It's an embroidered one. I squeed when I saw it and couldn't leave the store without it.

Okay, sounds like fun! ^^ I'm not very familiar with the rules though since I've never played, so I'll try to brush up a bit. xD I may need you to explain some stuff, too.

Can't wait to see the picture of your Mew. <3 I'll take pictures of mine at some point, too.

Edit: Just started flicking through my cards, and ... Somehow, somewhere, I got a Japanese card. ; It's of Onix. (Or judging by this katakana, "Iwaaku" <--- *doesn't know "official" romaji. His attacks are "Iya na Oto" and "Ikari" xD) I don't remember how or when I got this. Kind of strange having a Japanese card here in Canada. xD
I also have a Japanese holographic card of Heracross, Shuckle, and Cleffa. Where on earth did I get these?

Edit 2:Flipped through the cards again, and ... Why the heck are Koffing and Zubat considered 'Grass' type? ;

Onix's Japanese name is Iwark (イワーク, ee-wah-rku).

Koffing and Zubat are usually grouped into Grass or Psychic because there is no Poison group in the card game.
